What to Expect (Itinerary) Experience the volcanic landscapes of Rincón de la Vieja National Park on a full-day nature adventure combining rainforest, wildlife, volcanic activity, a refreshing waterfall, and natural hot springs. With a professional naturalist guide, hike approximately 3 km through the forest while discovering local wildlife, plants, trees, fumaroles, bubbling mud, and other signs of the volcano’s geological activity. Cool off at beautiful Oropéndola Waterfall before relaxing in the thermal pools and volcanic mud of the Hot Springs. Finish the experience with a traditional Costa Rican lunch before returning to the Guanacaste coast.
